We are beyond privilege to announce our upcoming whiskey evening… possibly the most prestigious occasion we’ve hosted to date!Join us for.. The Silent Distillery Unveiling here at Sonny Molloy’s Irish Whiskey Bar. When we welcome Chapter One and Chapter Two from Midleton Very Rare to join the shelves of our precious whiskey family.If you love whiskey, this is a must-attend exclusive event at 7pm Wednesday 6th April!

After 45 unhurried years, from its timbered haven, a veiled masterpiece arises – Midleton Very Rare Silent Distillery Collection. This collection honours the very last drops of this inimitable spirit before the distillery went silent forever. Sonny Molloy’s is fortunate to be one of the only bars in the world to soon display both Chapters.

It’s an honour to have Master Distiller Kevin O’ Gorman and Head Cooper Ger Buckley as special guests on the night, with the evening hosted by Irish Whiskey Ambassador Ger Garland. Guests will be welcomed with a whiskey cocktail on arrival, before the real fun begin. You’ll have the chance to hear all the inside information of the Silent Distillery directly from the whiskey experts with an opportunity for a Q&A. Of course with a drink in hand! Impressive tastings on the night will include Midleton Very Rare 2022, Dair Ghaelach Kylebeg Wood and a special single cask directly from Midleton Distillery. Before rounding off the evening with a bite to eat as you chat all things whiskey and enjoy a take-home whiskey gift bag. It really plans to be a special celebration of Irish whiskey at Sonny Molloy’s.
